    Fit Help

Our dresses and leotards are made from stretch performance fabrics, which allow comfort and flexibility for different body shapes.

This size guide is designed to recommend the best fit for an average-build dancer based on the measurements provided.

For all-in-one dresses and leotards, girth is the most important measurement because it measures the full body length from shoulder, through the torso, and back to the shoulder.

Dancers of the same age can have very different heights and torso lengths, so girth gives the most accurate indication of how the garment will fit through the body.

If one measurement falls noticeably outside the suggested size range, please contact us before ordering and we’ll be happy to review the measurements and recommend the best fit.

    How to measure

Girth is the most important measurement for all-in-one dresses and leotards.

    To measure girth:

✔ Place the tape measure at the top of the shoulder

✔ Over the fullest part of the chest

    ✔ Down through the crotch

✔ Back up to the same shoulder.

The measuring tape should follow closely to the body shape.

    Bust
Measure around the fullest part of the chest while keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

    Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of the natural waistline, approximately 1” above the belly button.

    Hips
Measure around the fullest part of the hips with feet together.

    Sleeve

Measure from the tip of the shoulder, along the arm, down to wrist bone. Keep the arm relaxed and slightly bent.

If your measurements fall between sizes, or if one measurement differs significantly from the others, please contact us before ordering and we’ll be happy to review the measurements.
